An employee of a private school was injured in a mysterious blast in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on Saturday, official sources said.
They said an unidentified shell exploded in a private school at Handwara when an employee identified as Reyaz Ahmad Ahangar was cleaning the compound this morning.
Ahangar was injured in the blast, they said, adding he was shifted to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings, they added.
